EFFECTIVE WORK LIFE

"Effective Worklife" focuses on your personal development and ensures that it is connected to the cross field in which you operate: clients, colleagues, mangers, the firm, etc. The programme provides knowledge and tools within personal leadership, collaboration and communication.

DEVELOPMENT IN PRACTICE

By employing the "Effective Worklife" framework we identify your competencies and help you recognise how you are able to develop these skills in order to meet your future needs and ambitions. In order to identify these competencies we, among other things, conduct a personality profile analysis, which can pinpoint both your strong suits and your development areas.

WHY IS DEVELOPMENT IMPORTANT?

It is crucial to develop your employees as this can contribute to ensuring employee motivation, resulting in increased productivity - no matter the firm (Report: Industrien, 2013)

Through development and purposeful leadership it is possible to improve employees' ability to reach common goals, take advantage of their strengths and minimise the impact of their weaknesses (Drucker,1988).

Essentially, the main goal is to create results and make the most of the resources you have. In most cases, your most important resource is in fact your employees.

There are thus plenty reasons to invest in your employees and their development. The competency and talent development of employees is essential for an organisation's continuous development. Furthermore, if prioritised, it is an area that can be part of driving the firm's productivity and growth.

However, one must have an understanding of what drives employees' performance, learning and development. Moreover, the organisation and individual manager must understand how to take on the task of developing the employees and how they with the right leadership tools can handle  this task on an everyday basis.

TRADITIONAL PERFORMANCE REVIEWS ARE DEAD

The traditional performance review is not what it used to be. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by Wilke, where 53 procent of the respondents indicate that they do not feel that performance review meetings contribute to their professional development (Learningbank.dk). Instead, there is a need for an ongoing conversation with feedback between the manager and the employee. Because employee development is as important as ever.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAMME WORK?

The "Effective Worklife" programme takes place over the course of 7 months and consists of 5 sparring sessions, which are held either at our office or at your company. Each session has an overarching theme, and the content of the sessions is related to your daily job.

You will prepare for each session using the provided training material. Simultaneously, you will convert your newly acquired knowledge into practice - what we call action learning. Furthermore, you will have a professional sparring partner, who will be available to you throughout the entire programme.

TARGET GROUP

"Effective Worklife" is targeted toward key employees, project managers and team leaders. It is suitable for the employee who needs clarity about his/her own competencies; the project manager who need additional tools in order to maintain the overview and ensure optimal prioritisation; or the team leader who is interested in how effective can improve well-being and efficiency in the team. The programme is also suitable for talent development.
